Philippe Hoerle-Guggenheim is the owner of HG Contemporary, a New York based gallery which specializes in bold, process-oriented work by emerging and established artists.
Since opening the gallery back in November of 2014, Philippe’s social and event-driven gallery has showcased exhibitions from artists such as Stuart McAlpine Miller, Jason Dussault, and Massimo Agostinelli. Today, HG Contemporary continues to thrive in the heart of Chelsea, showcasing both emerging and established artists.
Aside from his commitment to the gallery and his charitable endeavors, Philippe Hoerle Guggenheim is involved with many other projects, mainly in regard to networking. Philippe understands that the business that he works in there’s often times a lot of collaborations and synergies with other industries. With that, Philippe works tirelessly to build mutually beneficial partnerships amongst those in his network. More recently, Philippe started a new venture, working on a more tech based platform within the art industry, which he is excited to share
Apart from Philippe’s business and charitable endeavors through the gallery, he is also in the works of publishing a book of short stories. Philippe has always been passionate about writing, and wrote well into his early twenties. For Philippe, writing has always been a way to escape reality, into a world where anything is possible. Philippe finds reading such stories soothing, he’s eager to share his work in hopes of invoking that same feeling amongst readers.
